Since Linux 2.4.0 it is possible to remount part of the
file hierarchy somewhere else. The call is
mount --bind olddir newdir
Basically, after this command, the hierarchy under olddir is visible in
two places in the filesystem: under olddir and under newdir. Both operate
on the same part of 'disk' or whatever is underneath.
