QLFS project announcement

I must be doing something wrong. I have yet to successfully build hlfs
and now I can't build this QLFS either. I always get to the same spot
too. I have never gotten past glibc in ch6.

In hlfs I could get glibc built ok, but it always failed the tests. In
QLFS I can't even get it to build. I get the following:

gcc gconv_cache.c -c -std=gnu99 -O2 -Wall -Winline -Wstrict-prototypes
-Wwrite-strings -pie -pipe -mpreferred-stack-boundary=2
-DGCONV_DIR='"/usr/lib/gconv"' -I../include -I.

I would swear that I'm following the instructions to the letter. (Ok,
I used build/glibc instead of glibc-build, but that wouldn't cause it
to fail would it?) Can anyone offer any suggestions on what I could be
doing wrong?

Thanks
