[elinks-users] connection.ssl.cert_verify

the description of "connection.ssl.cert_verify" tells me that "extensive
configuration of OpenSSL" is needed. there's apparently no option to
specify a large, compound PEM file or a directory containing all the CA
signing certificates to verify some certificate presented to me.

what is this extensive configuration i'd have to do?  wouldn't some
symbolic link to etc/ssl/cert.pem work, with cert.pem beeing eg. the
mozilla certificate collection?
