hald does not start on booting

although hal starts withouth problems on two laptops , I cannot get hal to
start on my main PC during the boot process. After booting, there is no
problem.

In order to avoid a known issue with hal delivering a "proc/mdstat: no such
file or directory" message , I configured the kernel accordingly ( inspite
the fact that I do not have raids at all ). This message went away, but now
I am facing another one:

I do not think I need a "Consolekit", and I do not know if this message is the
reason for "starting the Hai Daemon fails".

I presume still a bug. hal is version 0.5.11, linux from scratch svn 20090315
Any ideas please ? Thank you very much.
Edgar
