Just set up sudo to run without a password:
   User_Alias  ADMIN = <userid>
   ADMIN       ALL = NOPASSWD: ALL

and then add sudo to each line in the script that needs it e.g.

   ./configure --prefix = /usr &&
   make &&
   sudo make install
