Can't compile aRts-1.2.10

While compiling qt-3.3.0 I get this error :

I got the same kind of error when compiling gtk+ with libXrandr.so.2. It
seems that x libraries in general are not found. Though these libraries
exist, they are at the right place and the line "/usr/X11R6/lib" is written
in /etc/ld.so.conf.
