OK i do as you say,
IN blfs-book, it is given to update the DRI
architecture from the xfree86 to the
kernel(lib/modules/kernel/drm...).  

Now is that neccessary with respect to the procedure
above given by you ?

And also by not enabling Radeon module in the kernel
will affect the performance of it ?
