sendmail and smtp auth

Well, your sendmail should be fine if you see this line.  (and I see you
got past the nasty linking error when using sasl2 vice sasl  ;)

I had to use the auth daemon from sasl?  I.E.:

loadproc /usr/sbin/saslauthd -a shadow

somewhere in /etc/init.d...  ...and in /usr/lib/sasl2/Sendmail.conf have:

pwcheck_method: saslauthd

The docs seem to point that unless you're using pam you should use the
saslauthd.  Even though shadow *should* work in sasl, it appears to be
broken.  I tried to grok the code to fix it, in order to avoid running
YAD (yet another daemon), but failed  :/  I may try again someday.

Next up I supose is the fight to get tls/ssl working in qpopper ;)
(hint: you have to manualy specify the proper port on the command line)
