I guess you do have the gnu-gs-fonts-std-6.0(.tar.gz) installed to
/usr/share/ghostscript (by simply unpacking them)?

As far as I can see, you're using Courier in that .ps file, which should
be included in that font package. Another possibility could be that
you're using a different font encoding that's not suppoerted by
ghostscript. If nothing of the above is appropriate, could you please
attach the .ps file to your reply, so we could have a further look at it?
