 >> 2003/07/04 18:43:02| Failed SNMP agent query from : 127.40.0.1.

This particular problem has now been solved, I was using the incorrect
community name:

in /etc/squid/squid.conf I used:

acl snmppublic snmp_community public

and in my inquiries:

I _was_ using

snmpwalk -v 1 -c snmppublic webby:3401

what really worked was:

snmpwalk -m /etc/squid/mib.txt -v 1 -c public webby:3401 cacheHttpHits.0

This still leaves me with MRTG errors:

alan at webby:logs $ /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg_squid.cfg
