gzexe.... worth it?

gzexe actually attempts to prevent you from doing this:

  case "`basename $i`" in
  gzip | tail | chmod | ln | sleep | rm)
        echo "${x}: $i would depend on itself"; continue ;;
######## end ####

cd /mnt/hdb1
tar c . > blurb.tar
cd /
tar xf /mnt/hdb1/blurb.tar
