I tried mpg123 as well

10 5 * * * mpg123 /home/deXter/music/Adam_Sandler_-_Medium_Pace.mp3

with the same results

Oct 7 05:10:00 fysgr405 fcron[18436]: Job mpg123
/home/deXter/music/Adam_Sandler_-_Medium_Pace.mp3 started for user root
(pid 18437)
Oct 7 05:10:00 fysgr405 fcron[18436]: Job mpg123
/home/deXter/music/Adam_Sandler_-_Medium_Pace.mp3 terminated (exit
status: 127)

..they work just fine from the commandline

Something with my fcron setup?
