gnome-libs compile error

Alright.  Find your libdb-X.X.so, probably /lib or /usr/lib.

:(10:43am /lib): nm libdb-X.X.so | grep 185
0000b904 T __db185_open
00061854 T __qam_add_recover
0000c344 t db185_close
0000bda4 t db185_del
0000c3a4 t db185_fd
0000be64 t db185_get
0000c320 t db185_openstderr
0000bf34 t db185_put

Do you see the __db185_open symbol in your library?
