Quick gcc question....

A cross-compiler is a compiler that compiles not for the platform you're running on (like a 386),
but for PowerPC.  Normally, if you're compiling software on your 386, you *don't* want to compile
it for a PowerPC machine.  So you don't want a cross-compiler.  What the configure script says is
normal...
