because you are asking this question i am assuming you just started to build
your LFS. maybe you want to wait a little, because LFS 2.4.3 will be
released
today.

Ok, this time I'm trying to make an LFS from Slackware and the very first
package gives errors, woopie :)

/usr/i386-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot open -lcurses: No such file or
directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [bash] Error 1

What exactly does this mean, why can't it find -lcurses?
