Uninstalling X should be easy enough. Everything should be contained within 
two directories - /usr/X11R6 (or whatever you called it) and /etc/X11.

Deleting those should be all you need to do to remove it.

As for libs like qt and the rest, you shouldn't need to recompile them. It 
can't do any harm, but shouldn't be necessary. Only do it if you have 
problems for some reason.
