Thanks for your input, Bruce. The only concern I have with the small
patch is if someones autofoo tool chain is messed up, but that is a
fairly small issue, knowing that only autoconf needs to be run.

I like the big patch (less instructions), Bruce likes the small patch,
and DJ wants to generate a new patch. :-) I really don't care, although
Bruce's suggestion is probably best. If there are no replies (I'm sure
Ken will have an opinion), then we'll go with Bruce's suggestion.
