I just installed tesstif and it built/installed without error.

However, when I looked at the instructions for testing, I got an error:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../..  -I../../../include/Motif-2.1
-I../../../include/Motif-2.1 -I../../../include/Motif-1.2
-I../../../include/Motif-1.2     -g -I/usr/include  -c test28.c
In file included from ../../../include/Motif-2.1/Xm/XmAll.h:79,
                  from test28.c:31:
../../../include/Motif-2.1/Xm/Print.h:28:34: error: X11/extensions/Print.h: No
such file or directory

This file has

#include <X11/extensions/Print.h>

and indeed I have /usr/include/X11/extensions/, but no Print.h in that
directory. Where should that file have come from?

Also, the text says: "You may need to manually close four of the test windows."

What test windows? I don't yet have X completely installed. I do have the
required Xorg libraries, but not the xorg-server and it certainly is not
running. There needs to be more explanation here. If X needs to be running to
run the tests, we need to say so.
