I really don't go out of my way to use the MusicBrainz service. Apparently,
the libmusicbrainz library has been redesigned, and there is a Version 3
branch now along with the Version 2 branch. Details here:
I'm thinking the book needs to keep version 2 and postpone updating to
version 3 until packages that use it catch up. The docs at MusicBrainz
say that the APIs are not compatible with one another.
I don't know, and I'm looking for any input from folks in the know.
