Some more data. I just did a quick and dirty scan on only a partially
built Gnome system (basically up to gnome-panel) with readelf looking for
DT_NEEDED entries for libpopt and this is what I came up with:

GConf
ORBit2
evolution-data-server
gnome-desktop
gnome-panel
gnome-vfs
gucharmap
libbonobo
libbonoboui
libgnome
libgnomeprint
libgnomeui
