But it is not that easy. There are libraries involved that won't be
in the linker's cache (unless somebody was to add /opt/gcc.x.x.x to
/etc/ld.so.conf without being told to do it), rendering the compiler
Bruce, if someone needs GCC-3.3.x (whatever compiler, other than
the C and C++ which we provide support for), surely they know how
to install it.
