Just for your information,it doesn't work with a recent kernel ( in my case).

Using the rules that mentioned from Alexander in the bug,sane finds the
scanner,under /dev/bus/usb and with the proper permitions.
This is from a recent build of the udev branch.

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x220e [CanoScan],
chip=LM9832/3) at libusb:2:3.
