Yes this was reported today. See this bug:
http://blfs-bugs.linuxfromscratch.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1699
I did the same with the mozilla tarball too. Both will be fixed shortly.

Due to the miroring, it's ungziped and bziped. The build system doesn't
handle bz2 files.

Nor is GTK2 which I mistakenly thought IDL dragged in. I'd not have
noticed this otherwise. Thanks.

This issue was fixed once before in tcsh-6.11 (2003). I'm not sure what
the issue is here as I've not seen it and I do have LS_COLORS set in my
environment. Can you explain possibly how to reproduce it? What is
your LS_COLORS variable set to and what versions of tcsh?

The patch description is in question. The thunderbird bit does not work
just yet and should be removed. Also, the firefox build will leave you
no chance to use a thunderbird address book as a data souce for mail
merge, which I've stalled in working on. Feel free to submit an updated
patch in the interim if you'd like it in the book now and I'll get it
taken care of ASAP. The appropriate text is already in SVN, it's just
commented out so it's not rendered.
