Very true. And so he follows the book. And then doesn't receive
warnings when running ldd against the .so file in question. Not so
bad. Seems the way it is now would prevent less support questions.
Keep in mind that this issue was brought up by a very experienced
LFS user that very well knows he can bypass the instruction. :-)
