Dear freshmeat.net subscriber,
glennrp just announced version 1.4.3 of libpng on freshmeat.net.
The changes are as follows:
This release fixes a bug in the progressive reader with reading malformed PNG
files that have more row data in the IDAT chunk than is required (CVE-2010-1205)
and a memory leak when reading malformed sCAL chunks.
libpng (PNG library) is a collection of routines used
to create and manipulate PNG format graphics files.
The PNG format was designed as a replacement for
GIF and, to a lesser extent, TIFF, with many
improvements and extensions.
