No, it wouldn't. In this case anyway. However, I can see your point.
Additionally, the md5sum doesn't change in the original download, so
this ends up being a good thing.

Well, I hardly call adding needless commands to the instructions as
"fixing" anything, but for consistency purposes, I suppose we should
leave it as it is now. :-)
