          Platform: PC
               URL: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/server/mai
                    l.html#postfix
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: BOOK
        AssignedTo: blfs-book at linuxfromscratch.org

"CCARGS="$CCARGS -DHAS_PCRE" AUXLIBS="$AUXLIBS -lpcre" : These make variables
add PCRE support to Postfix."

Ha! Persuading it NOT to use PCRE took literally minutes!! Certainly if blfs
book is followed for PCRE install, postfix will correctly detect and use it.

To specifically not use it, there's probably an easier way than hacking
makedefs.
