fcron 2.1 will work with the current scripts.  Fcron added PAM support - if 
available - so if BLFS user has install PAM, fcron will use it by default.  
Since LFS does not install PAM, there in no effect of the new default.  I have 
no knowledge of PAM, but I can not imagine a case where you would not want 
fcron to use it if it were available.  If there is such a case, I would suggest 
adding --with-pam=no to the configure command.

One other note, the author recommends not using this in a working environment 
because the PAM feature is not fully tested.  Is there any policy on when to 
stay with stable? when unstable is o.k.?
