This email is to inform you of release '3.4p1' of 'Portable OpenSSH'
through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found

The changes in this release are as follows:
This version fixes a major security vulnerability which exists in
versions 2.9.9 to 3.3. Systems running with "UsePrivilegeSeparation
yes" or "ChallengeResponseAuthentication no" are not affected.The 3.4
release contains many fixes that were made during a week-long audit
started when the recent security issue came to light. Some of those
fixes are likely to be important security fixes. Therefore, upgrading
to 3.4 is recommended. 

Project description:
This is a Unix/Linux port of OpenBSD's excellent  OpenSSH. OpenSSH is
a full implementation of the  SSH1 protocol and a 99% implementation
of the  SSH 2 protocol, including sftp client and server  support.
