When i was installing openssl on my lfs cvs 29062002 i had to modify some of
the indications from the book:
sed 's/\(-m\)\(486\)/\1arch=\2/g' Configure >Configure
- this sed command fixes the problem on Configure file ( thanks to elko at
irc.linuxfromscratch.org :) )
and then continues...
mv doc/apps/passwd.pod doc/apps/openssl-passwd.pod && \
./Configure linux-elf --openssldir=/etc/ssl --prefix=/usr shared \
make MANDIR=/usr/share/man && \
make MANDIR=/usr/share/man install
same thing except the last line of the command, which aparently was not
built on my system...
hope this can help in anyway.
