                    deprecated elements

           Version: 1.2.1
          Platform: All
               URL: http://linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/alfs-discuss/2004-
                    January/004490.html
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Docs
        AssignedTo: alfs-log at linuxfromscratch.org
        ReportedBy: jwrober at linuxfromscratch.org
         QAContact: alfs-log at linuxfromscratch.org

the <unpack> element refers to <digest> and <reference> use inside
<unpack> being deprecated; possibly this discussion occurred before I
joined the team, but I don't know why whis would be true. I certainly
intend to keep using and supporting this syntax.
