Ok, how is it any more optional than say like some of the documentation
generation and installation stuff, there are some packages that require
extra programs to generate the docs, but we still include the commands,
only commented out by default. Even though things are optional we still
need to include them for completeness. As far as I'm concerned the user
should know wether they need it or not and if they do they can go in
uncomment the parts they need and run it.
