Why not put the download and checksums at the beginning of your profile?

	If you look back about two weeks in the list archive, you'll see where I
	proposed doing exactly this (actually, performing the downloads and
	digest checks as one step), among other things. I doubt I'll get to it
	for the next couple of weeks, but it definitely will happen.
