Bootstrap nALFS

What are your versions of autoconf, automake and libtool? There's 
something very strange going on here, because automake thinks you're 
building a GNU-standard project (the NEWS/AUTHORS/ChangeLog files) but 
the nALFS Makefile.am turns that requirement off.
