checksum verification in nALFS

Couldn't we just have an extra element in archive holding the action(s) to execute on the archive
Something like:
<archive>
	<checksum type="md5">09875019751059171709b5</checksum>
	<action>check,unpack</action>
	...
</archive>

The 'type' attribute would be optional and default to md5 and if it offends you guys, just ignore it, but it does leave the field open for other types of checksums (sha is what springs to mind).
The main point here is the action element.
