Trouble with this is it implies some kind of parity with the parent 
package, which may come as one archive or as 6 archives and 8 patches, 
though if it did i probably wouldn't trust it !

On the contrary, <param> from make|configure and <option> from 
copy|mkdir etc. _are_ different.
