This is very un-profile like, imho.

There should be no need for that block of code (exiting chroot then
re-entering) we aren't in the shell here :)

The <move> should be moved back into the bash package and that part of the
profile removed.

Allthough that doesn't directly answer your answer...that's all i have
to say, dunno if it will help or not ;)
