First, get the package and the profile, there will be some section in
the profile that u need to edit, like your lfs partition, where you want
to mount it, location of your lfs source, etc..

Subject: Newbie Guide

Hi all,

Some months ago I've built my LFS system (pre3.0). Now I want to build
the
current version but this time using your ALFS engine. Is there a newbie
guide somewhere that teaches what has to be done?

I know I'll need nALFS (or the Perl based engine), the source packages
and
the profile, but:
where do I put the packages?
how do I specify the mounted partition to build into?
and any other issues to look out for...

Thanks,
Pedro Ortigao
