Hello out there...

I'm trying to install an LFS-System (2.4.2) on my SuSE-Linux 6.4 Machine,
but I'm still having trouble with compiling some programs:

1.: ed
the compiler output:
#config.h is unchanged
#touch stamp-h
#gcc -c -I. -I. -DHAVE_CONFIG_H  -O3 -mcpu=i586 -march=i586 buf.c
#In file included from buf.c:26:
#ed.h:241: conflicting types for `sys_errlist'
#/usr/include/stdio.h:557: previous declaration of `sys_errlist'
#make: *** [buf.o] Error 1
#bash-2.04#

2.: mawk
here's the output of the compiler:
#}
#loop terminated
#
#testing domain error
#mawk BEGIN{ print log(-8) }
#nan
#
#
#==============================
#return1 = 0
#return2 = 0
#return3 = 0
#results consistent: ignoring floating exceptions
#cp mawk /usr/bin
#chmod  0755  /usr/bin/mawk
#cp  man/mawk.1  /usr/share/man/man1/mawk.1
#cp: cannot create regular file `/usr/share/man/man1/mawk.1': No such file
#or dir
#ectory
#make: *** [install] Error 1
#bash-2.04#

Can you help me with this?
Thanks a lot!!!

CU, Matthias Minich
