One of the aims LHS is to allow you to mount /usr as read only
To make this work, /usr/etc and /usr/var are symlinks to
/etc and /var.

gzip
====

My version of gzip (1.2.4) has gunzip and gzip
hard linked together so "mv gunzip gzip /bin"
does not work. Try

cd $LFS/usr/bin
mv gzip $LFS/bin
rm gunzip
cd $LFS/bin
ln -s gzip gunzip

ssd
===

I cannot make this as it has no make file, just a
man page and a .c
It compiles fine though.
