It's not always that easy. Read on in the docs. You cannot use the "kernel ramdisk" bootdisk method. The floppy may work fine, but when the image is transferred over to cd, the kernel still tries to read the root file system from /dev/fd0.
eltorito disks only emulate a floppy drive for the bios, once the kernel kicks in, it knows what's what.
